Bethany’s passion for dance started at a young age and blossomed into a successful performing career. As a child Bethany performed throughout the U.K in productions including; Sleeping Beauty, Mother Goose, Jack and the Beanstalk, Aladdin, Carmen the Opera, and Turandot the Opera. Bethany was featured on London’s West End as part of a variety showcase and made headlines in the Oxford Mail for her success as a child. She went on to train at S.C.A.D.A in Australia where she gained a Diploma in Performing Arts.
She trained in contemporary, Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Commercial and more and is a highly skilled dancer and performer. Bethany also holds a level 4 qualification in classical Ballet from the RAD and is certified to teach under the International Dance Teachers Association. She has also been nominated to part of the International Dance Council in Paris, where she is now a current member and involved in international congresses all over the world.
Teaching Confidence
After her training, Bethany travelled all over the world performing for companies such as Hong Kong Disneyland and P&O cruise ships, as well as playing a member of the ensemble in the Australian tour production of SHOUT – The Legend of the Wild One. After her career as a performer Bethany continued her involvement with Hong Kong Disneyland by playing a part in the casting process of the company’s London auditions. More recently, Bethany attended a workshop in London by Kimberley Wyatt (a member of the Pussycat Dolls and a judge on the television programme, Got To Dance) where she was pronounced winner of a dance off out of hundreds of dancers for her musicality and charisma.
Furthermore, Bethany is very much involved in the Oxford dance community and has appeared several times on BBC Radio Oxford to teach the presenters how to dance and encourage males who lack confidence on the dance floor.

Action ShotsBethany founded Mini Professionals Dance Academy in 2015 after moving back to the UK with an aim of bringing the benefits of dance to the children of Oxford. Her ethos of instilling confidence through dance shines through in her teaching style and is something that she strives to ensure all teacher’s at MPDA share. She enjoys building confidence and self-belief in students and believes that just one weekly dance class can benefit a child’s growth within their school, home and social settings.
After building MPDA up from just a few weekly classes to a successful school of over 800 pupils and over 20 dedicated teachers, she is now ready to take a step back from teaching students and involve herself more in the growth of the company with an aim of sharing the school’s ethos to even more children and adults across the country.
