NEW BICESTER DANCE CLASSES!

From this coming Thursday 5th Sept, Miss Kelly will be offering NEW Bicester classes, including Funk/Hip-hop for all ages as well as baby ballet. Please see the details below:

STARTING THURSDAY 5TH SEPT

Venue: St Edburg’s CE Primary School, Pioneer Way, Bicester OX26 1BF

3.45pm-4.15pm: Baby Ballet (Age 2-3)

4.15pm-5pm: Tinies Hip Hop (Age 4-7)

5pm-6pm: Mids Hip Hop (Age 8-11)

6pm-7pm: Teens Hip Hop (Age 12+)

If you’d like to book your child in for a FREE TRIAL in any of the above, click on the button below to email the office. Please include the class your child wishes to try and their name. We can’t wait to hear from you!

SUNDAY 6th OCTOBER: 2pm-3.30pm: MPDA STUDIOS

Miss Ella is an expert professional in Hip hop and commercial dance! We are very excited to welcome Miss Ella back to the studios to provide a challenging workshop for our teen dancers. Students will learn complex choreography to the latest music, focusing on commercial style, rhythm and performance. The perfect contrast to technical forms of dance such as ballet and modern. Not one to be missed! For ages 12+- BOOK BELOW!

HALF TERM CAMP: MON 28TH OCT- FRI 1ST NOV

TINIES: 9.30am-12.30pm

MIDS: 9.30am-3.30pm

Booking is already open for our October half term dance camp at Kidlington! We are offering a tinies camp for ages 3-7 and a main camp for ages 8+. All styles of dance will be covered, with an additional SPOOKY Halloween theme based on The Addams Family! So rescue your child from boredom over the half term and treat them to a week of fun.

EARLY YEARS!

NEW EARLY YEARS CLASSES!

We are incredibly excited to announce that Ex-MPDA studio ambassador Miss Lola will be running new Early years classes on a Sunday at our Kidlington studios! Some Sunday classes are already fully booked, but please do not panic as we have more Early years offerings on other weekdays. Please EMAIL THE OFFICE to book a free trial in any of the below, or you can view our timetable by following the yellow button if you want to view more class options!

STARTING FROM SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 8TH

9.15-9.45am Baby Ballet (Age 2-3)

10-10.45am Mini Movers Dance (Confident walkers – age 2)

10.45-11.15am Baby MT (Age 2-3)

11.45-12.15pm Baby Acro (Age 2-3)

12.15-1pm Tinies Acro (Age 4-7)

If your Child brings a friend to trial a class, you will receive an INSTANT refund for 1 session. Then, if that friend enrols for the rest of the Autumn, you will receive 25% OFF next term’s fees! (For one class). This could be a huge saving of up to £47!

OR if your child recruits 4 friends who all enrol, you get the entire Spring term 2025  (for one class) FREE!

LOOKING BACK ON AUGUST

WHAT FUN WE HAD! MPDA hosted 4 whole weeks of dance camp over August at both our Kidlington site and our Abingdon venue. All attendees had an incredible experience- learning multiple styles of dance across our dance weeks, and putting on a production of Matilda across our Musical theatre week. Our tinies students also had fun doing lots of arts and crafts and all dancers participated in choreography competitions and group games. We received excellent feedback as always, with some children even booking in for an additional week! Parents also loved the opportunity to see their child in the mini production at the end of each camp- expressing how astounded they were at what had been achieved in just 5 days.

ADVANCED CAMP

For the final week of August we held our advanced camp for students age 12+. We really put students through their paces with industry style workshops from expert professionals! We had Theo from the Royal Ballet to offer a stellar ballet repertoire workshop. It’s incredible to think that Theo was an ex MPDA pupil! The students also experienced a stunt acro workshop and a challenging Hip-Hop session with guest teacher Keena. The dancers then had the opportunity to have industry style headshots taken, getting to experience all aspects of a potential performing career. What a brilliant week!
