NOVEMBER NEWSLETTER

Dear Parents and Customers. We hope that you had a wonderful Half term break and we are now in the lead up to Christmas! Our Xmas productions of Seussical and Movie Madness will soon come around and rehearsals are well underway! This newsletter will include important show reminders, reveal some exciting changes to our timetable and we will show you some of the fantastic photographs taken over the first half of term. MPDA Christmas Productions!
KEY DATES & REMINDERS

DRESS REHEARSAL: Sunday 11th December.
Venue: MPDA Studios, 12 Banbury Road, OX5 2BT

NO CLASSES will be running at the studios on the day of the dress rehearsal or on the actual show dates.

Please consult the DRESS REHEARSAL SCHEDULE to see when your Child will be needed.

Rehearsals have been taking place in class and our teachers have been hard at work choreographing their final pieces! Here are some photos of the students working hard to perfect their routines. It’s been very exciting seeing all of the creative ideas come to life and with the addition of the costumes and lighting it’s set to be a fantastic weekend of productions!

AUDIENCE TICKETS!

Most audience tickets have now sold out! Due to popularity we have added an additional morning 10.30am show on Sunday 18th December. Any customers who have a Child performing on that date have been notified.

If you still need to purchase tickets then please click here to do so via The Old Fire station website. All ticket enquiries must go through the theatre box office, so to enquire about refunds, ticket exchanges or for any further questions, please email tickets@oldfirestation.org.uk

COSTUME FORMS!

Have you returned your completed measurement form via email or to reception? The deadline to do so was the 21st October! If your form is still outstanding, please return to us by the end of TODAY. Click HERE to download the form.

This means that for any new individuals who want to come and try an adult dance or fitness class, their first lesson will be HALF PRICE. Additionally, even if you are a dedicated attendee of our MPDA sessions at present, you can still benefit for the deal as it applies to any NEW class you haven’t previously attended!

We were so impressed with the effort everyone made to dress up for our Halloween week! We saw everything from ghoulish ghosts to wicked witches, to dazzling mermaids! Even our teachers joined in on the fun- Can you spot the stormtrooper?! Here are some photos for you to enjoy……..!

Congratulations to the winners who have all been treated to some wonderful MPDA merchandise!

HIRE OUT OUR FACILITIES!

We still have day rate availability for our treatment room, perfect for any therapists or beauticians who would like to set up base in a welcoming environment! We are also seeking Personal trainers who would like to hire out our gym on a regular basis to train their clients. Should you or anyone you know be interested then please email the office for hire rates.

Or perhaps your Child has a Birthday coming up? Well one of our spacious studios could be the perfect place to hold an MPDA dance or ACRO party! We even offer soft play parties for under 4s. Find out more about our party packages here.

We require a class assistant for our acro/gymnastics sessions at The Bicester School on a Friday. The classes run from 4.15pm-7.45pm and Mr Sjef would love an extra pair of hands to help assist the Children in learning their new skills! It’s a fantastic opportunity for any students who would like some extra work or who may be considering a career path in teaching. Also, many of our current class assistants use it towards their DOE award.

On Thursday 27th October, Miss Emily and Miss April provided an intense day of masterclasses for students age 11+. The styles offered were lyrical, commercial, musical theatre, and jazz technique. Our students were put through their paces, reminding us of how talented our attendees are. Our teachers have really pushed our squad and competition team members to match the ability of viral American dance superstars. We are so proud!
