What a February we have had!!!

Disneyland Paris Dancers

A big congratulations to the above students for all of their hard work and dedication. The students performed multiple routines on a the big stage to a large audience and the feedback has been incredible! They were chosen to lead the parade with a few students being scouted by Disneyland Paris officials! Thank you to Miss Emily and Miss April for making the trip happen! We have been invited back to perform at Disneyland Paris in 2025 where our squad dancers will be invited to perform!

Comp Team Congrats!

Our Competition team entered two UK COMPS. Xcite Dance UK and Destination Dance UK. They won both categories for BOTH competitions! We are incredibly proud of our students, especially as the competitions are of Elite standard.

Comp Team auditions are open for all and take place annually. The next audition will be in Summer.

RAD Ballet Exams

We are opening an RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) class for those that wish to add UCAS points and gain a professional qualification.

Did you know that dance exams which are at level 3 are deemed equal to A level standard?

Therefore you would qualify for points that may be accepted by universities and colleges (e.g. UCAS points).

The applicable Grades for level 3 are Grade 6/7/8 and Intermediate. If you child takes their RAD ballet exam for any of these grades, they can use their exam results to help with future university or college applications!

Easter Holiday Camps!

Week One

DANCE CAMP 3rd-6th APRIL

TINIES CAMP (3-7 years) 9.30am-12.30pm

MAIN CAMP (8-17 years) 9.30am-3.30pm

Students will be split into age groups and will take part in master classes in jazz, contemporary, lyrical, hip-hop, funk, gymnastics, ballet, tap, musical theatre and more!

At the end of the 4 days students will put on a short performance for parents to watch. This will be recorded for parents to share with other family members and friends.

All abilities welcome. Your child does not need any dance experience!

Week Two

MUSICAL THEATRE CAMP 11-14th April

(3-7 years) 9.30am-12.30pm Mon-Thu + 12.30pm-3.30pm on Fri

MAIN CAMP

(8-17 years) 9.30am-3.30pm

This year students will put on their very own production of High School Musical!

Students will audition for roles, learn songs and routines as well as script work for the costumed show. This will be recorded for parents to share with other family members and friends.

AFTER CAMP CLUB

This year we are offering after camp club to help any working parents who may not be able to collect their child midway through the day. The after-camp club will also be a great opportunity for older students to use free studio space for practice with supervision of an adult. Students from the tinies and main camps will be able to stay at the studios and take part in games, crafts and creative activities supervised by MPDA staff.

After camp club is charged at £5 per hour with the following limits:

Tinies camp students can stay with us from 12.30-5.30pm **or 9.30am-12.30pm on Friday 14th.

(MIN 1 hour, MAX 5 hours)

Main camp students can stay with us from 3.30pm-5.30pm

(MIN 1 hour, MAX 2 hours)

To book your child in for after camp club, please first purchase their space for the camp via the link, then simply email us to let us know the dates and hours that your child will be attending with us.

Soft Play

A huge thank you to everybody who attends our Soft Play sessions! We appreciate your support in boosting the early years field of MPDA.

We are opening Soft Play on a Monday from March 6th on a trial basis. Hopefully, if attendance is successful we will run this alongside our Thursday Soft Play on a weekly basis going forwards!

ADULT DANCE FIT FUSION

After Lizzie’s fantastic pilates class which runs on a Thursday morning, we will be introducing DANC FIT FUSION, with the additional option of childcare! Perfect for Mums with youngsters under 4 who just want some time for themselves.

Dance Fit fusion is an exciting blend of dance styles mixed with strengthening exercises. Help to improve tone in the body whilst learning some fun, funky moves.

Each music track focuses on a different area of the body, from the core to the legs, to the upper body. Plus cardio fitness is incorporated making it a fantastic fitness class!

Private Lessons

Discounted private lessons for the next 3 months only.

£50 per hour for 1:1 (excluding acro)

£70 per hour for 2:1

A great chance for yourself or your child to improve in your chosen dance or Gymnastic style.

All private lessons are held in our Kidlington venue. On occasion, we can come to you for an additional charge.

School Uniform
