We now have classes running on a Monday in Abingdon! The lovely Miss Sophie teaches a range of sessions at the new location, and we are so excited to have these in addition to our Friday Abingdon sessions with Miss Emily.

ISTD MODERN CLASSES!

Miss Sophie has also started teaching our NEW Friday ISTD modern classes! Attending an ISTD session will allow your child to take modern exams and progress through the grades with this prestigious federation. We are thrilled to finally be able to offer this at MPDA.

Come join us for a Mother’s day celebration and bond with your child! We wanted to provide something for all of those hard working Mums out there, so

Join the wonderful Jasmine for a brilliant dance class. You’ll see what your child has been up to in their sessions, whilst you get involved in learning some steps and a fun routine. Your child will love dancing with you, and there will no doubt be laughs all round! The perfect prep to a Mothering Sunday. You’ll also receive a beautiful rose at the end of the workshop, a ‘3 things I appreciate about you card’ and a polaroid snap to take with you as a memorable keepsake.

MPDA’s Mummy Bear’s Picnic: ‘Guess how much I love you?’

Friday 8th March: 10am-11.30am: MPDA STUDIOS, 12 Banbury Road, OX5 2BT

Come and join us at MPDA for a magical early Mother’s day experience! Our teddy bear’s picnic is a wonderful opportunity to bond with your little one. There will be plenty on offer; Based around the heartwarming book; “Guess How much I love you”, we will provide creative storytelling, stimulating movement, arts and crafts and a sociable picnic for all! This will include some yummy treats from ‘Barefoot Bakery’. You will also receive a lovely hand printed card.

Suitable for confident walkers -Age 3

Keep an eye on your inbox for more details about our Summer show! All students will have the opportunity to take part in this staged event- a wonderful opportunity to see your child shine on stage. For now, please save the dates across that weekend in July and more will be revealed soon!

Past student success!

We cannot put into words how proud we are of every student who has grown up with MPDA. Whether a child pursues dance, goes to Uni, or finds their own way in the world, we hope that their time at MPDA helped to develop the life skills needed to become the very best version of themselves. Dance develops confidence, discipline, social competence and self awareness. It is more than just technique and we aim to nurture every child who walks through the door. Looking back on February!

FEBRUARY STAY AND PLAY!

Our Stay and Play events are becoming a regular part of our events calendar, and we had another fantastic morning over the Half term! We welcomed children age 0-5 for a brilliant day of soft play, arts and crafts, and interactive activities with our team. There was also a bouncy castle, photo booth and refreshments provided for all. Our Early years programme at MPDA is thriving, and you can see some of our heartwarming five star reviews HERE!

Miss Alice and Miss Emily provided an entire day of discounted private lessons over the Half term! 1-1 sessions are a fantastic way to supplement your child’s training, giving them the individual attention and focus they need to help them excel in dance. Every child who attended came away having learnt something new, with exercises they could take home with them to keep on enhancing their technique! We offer private lessons at the studios in all genres with any team member you desire. Also a great idea for a Birthday present! Please email the office to book in today.

For the first time ever, MPDA held a Dance day camp over the half term- a super condensed version of our successful holiday camps, and what fun we had! Students aged between 4-13 joined us for a day of dance and acro training. There was a unique partner work session, a ‘dancing with props’ class, arts and crafts for the tinies, and choreographic challenges for the older students. A great taste of what is to come at our Easter camps in just a few weeks! Thanks so much to those who joined us.

EARLY YEARS FUN!

We have continued to welcome lots of newbies to our wonderful Early years classes and soft play sessions! We are always introducing new equipment to the mix, including our brand new mini kitchen which the children are loving! We offer Baby Musical theatre, Baby Ballet and Baby gymnastics, as well as Mini Movers, Music and movement, Curious crawlers and Baby massage classes. There really is something for EVERY AGE from 6 weeks up to age 4.
