Dear Parents and Customers. We’ve reached the Half term break already! Here is the latest MPDA news detailing what you can look forward to over the coming weeks. Summer Camp bookings are open, we have our Audition prep course next week, plus our first ever competition team auditions are just around the corner.

SUMMER CAMPS 2022!

Booking is now OPEN for our incredibly popular Summer Camps.

This year we will be adding an advanced teens workshop week, as well as a stage school week! This will be purely dancing, singing and acting for all of those budding West end performers.

Please click HERE to book your Child’s space. Non MPDA students are also welcome so we’d love for your Child to bring a friend or two to join them!

MPDA MOVIE NIGHT

We were so excited to host our first ever Movie night at our venue! The studios were kitted out with plush bean bags and a giant cinema screen for the showing of Happy Feet and Hairspray.

It was the perfect way to end a full day of classes on a Saturday. We can’t wait for the next one!

AUDITION PREPARATION COURSE: Half term break

LAST CHANCE TO BOOK!

A fantastic opportunity for teens to learn more about the dance and performing industry. Get one step ahead by learning the top tips to impress, improve performance skills, and learn a wide range of repertoire. Perfect for students who wish to take their dancing further. HALF PRICE PRIVATE LESSON DAY!

On Thursday 2nd June, Miss April and Miss Emily will be filling the day with half price private lessons! This means that a 1-1 session for one hour is just £33, or a 30 minute private will be £16.50.

AUDITIONS: MPDA COMPETITION TEAM

SUNDAY 5TH JUNE

AUDITION TIME: 10.30AM-12PM

To run in addition to our Squad teams, we are giving all MPDA students the chance to be part of our brand new competition team! Auditions will be held on the Saturday of Half term and you will need to email Miss April to express interest in attending.

-Students will learn a technical Jazz warm up, a jazz routine and a lyrical routine.

-This will be performed in small groups in front of the friendly panel.

-Please prepare a short paragraph as to why you hope to gain a place in the competition team, and please bring a hard copy of this with you.

-All black dance attire to be worn. Please can long hair be tied back neatly.

We have recently received some more stock so please do check online for new sizing available. Plus we have some new designs including a lovely new MPDA leotard. More coming soon!

Students are required to wear MPDA uniform when attending classes. (Or plain black dance wear). We offer a range of leotards, shorts, leggings and warm up attire for boys and girls of all ages.

SINGING LESSONS- Still available

Miss Portia- Star of the West end is now offering singing lessons on a Thursday evening!

You can book in for a 30 minute slot between 5pm-7pm. A 1-1 session is just £20. EMAIL the office to book today.

Weekly soft play sessions

Parties now available!

Soft play sessions run weekly on a Wednesday and Thursday morning. Suitable for under 4s, it’s a great opportunity to have some fun with the equipment and socialise your little one! Plus make use of our handy cafe.

We are now offering soft play Birthday parties and we are always hosting Birthday dance parties for our older students.
