AFTER CAMP OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE INCLUDING OUR CAMPS PLUS!

Camp Plus means that your child can stay at the studio daily until 5.30pm and socialise with friends, make up their own dances and take part in games. Students will not take part in dance classes but will have the chance to do their own practice at the studio and enjoy time with friends. The tinies students will be lead through crafts, games and more! All supervised by our incredible team! 

Camp Plus: £300 for the week (we will also offer flexi after camp where you can book in for specific hours at the cost of £10 PH)

Our Squad teams have a very busy Summer with various performances lined up! We have been invited to perform pieces at the prestigious Summerfields School Founder’s Fayre. We hold acro gymnastics classes at Summerfields school on a Monday, so we are very excited to be appearing! We have also been asked to dance at the Oxford Park Fair and the Dunmore School fete. Best of all, we will be performing on the Global stage at the Westgate as part of the Dancin’ Oxford’s festival! All of these opportunities are brilliant exposure for MPDA and they provide invaluable performance opportunities for our squad team. We’ll let you know next month how the events go!

UNIFORM FLASH SALE!

Due to us needing to change uniform supplier, we will be selling off some of our current uniform stock in a mega flash sale!  Selected items will be highly reduced so you won’t want to miss out! We can then make way for our new uniform items- most of which will be the same designs as we currently offer to keep the continuity as best we can. So please do come along on Sunday the 9th of June between 9am-12pm to grab what you can!

MPDA FOUNDATION COURSE

LAUNCHING SEPT 2024!

Is your child age 16+? Are they looking to take their dancing further?  Would they like to have a career in the industry? Then MPDA’s Foundation course could be the answer!

Starting from September 2024, MPDA will be accepting their first intake of students for this specialised course! Pupils will receive a tailor made timetable which includes all dance styles as well as theory on topics such as nutrition, optimising performance, audition preparation, dance history and dance education. There will also be options for singing, acting, specialised dance teaching and gaining vocational dance qualifications. Each student will receive a weekly private lesson and regular catch-up meetings.  Ideal for any student who wishes to go on to attend professional dance college, university dance programs or teaching qualification programs.

EARLY YEARS!

Baby Yoga- starting after Half term!

The wonderful Jo offers her delightful Baby massage sessions on a Monday at MPDA for babies 6 months – sitting age, and now Jo will be offering Baby Yoga! Baby Tots Yoga is an interactive routine performed with you and baby. The movements will include gentle stretching of limbs Baby Yoga has been proved to be a safe and beneficial class to introduce at this young age. The classes are baby led, meaning if you have to feed, change or just have a jig around to settle them, then all that is absolutely fine!

NEW PARENT & BABY CLASSES!

We have now launched our brand new Friday morning classes! Tone with tinies allows parents  to work out whilst your toddler can play with our wonderful soft play facilities in the same room! Sling Fit Baby Groove is a fun workout  which  gives new parents the chance to workout whilst remaining connected to your bundle of joy! There is no need to juggle childcare, as this session means that you can bring your little one along in their sling, and engage in a low impact dance workout which is sure to be plenty of fun.

Looking back on May!

Our comp team were invited back to the Destination Dance championships- especially for any entries who scored 85+ points in their regional competitions! This meant that the standard of competitors was second to none! The girls were up against dancers from England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and France. Once again, they did an AMAZING job under pressure, receiving an array of awards and commendations!

Does your child have what it takes to be part of our Elite competition team? We are holding auditions for our 2024-2025 squad at MPDA Studios on Sat 20th July. More details will be released soon, but we are exited to announce that as well as a senior team for ages 13+, we will now be introducing a JUNIOR team for age 8 and over!

JUNIOR TEAM AUDITION: Sat 20th July: 5pm-6pm

SENIOR TEAM AUDITION: Sat 20th July: 6pm-7.30pm

(If you cannot attend on 20th July, we will also be holding auditions on Fri 30th August for late entries).

Here at MPDA we strive to support local businesses and we know first hand how tough the current climate can be. Therefore, we want to help other companies as much as we can- and that means YOU!

Every month, if you own a small business, you can have the chance to get a spot in a newsletter for FREE! This newsletter goes out to hundreds of customers which is great exposure.

All you have do to is submit your business details (e.g.- name/ webpage/ contact details) to us via email, by the 20th of each month. We will then pick an entry at random as part of a prize draw. We also would love for businesses to appear in our Summer show program! This is great exposure for you so please do get in touch if you’d like to find out more.
