FIRSTLY, CONGRATULATIONS TO MISS BETHANY AND MR JAMIE!

On the 23rd June, Miss Bethany the principal of MPDA gave birth to a beautiful Baby boy! Forrest Sydney Johnstone weighed in at 8lbs 1oz and the whole family are dong well. We are absolutely over the moon for Bethany and Jamie. We hope that little Forrest will follow in the talented, kind, humble and loving footsteps of his Mum and Dad!

Off to Bird!

The very talented Olivia has successfully been awarded a place at one of the top dance colleges in the country. Olivia will be attending the prestigious Bird college from September. We couldn’t be more proud and we know that Olivia has a bright future ahead of her!

Tring Associates

Our lovely Maddie has been offered a place at the Tring park school for the performing arts associate school! Tring Park is one of the best vocational training academies in the country. This brilliant achievement will allow Maddie to receive excellent dance training at Tring, alongside all of her regular MPDA sessions. Maddie also is an associate at the School of Ballet Theatre UK.

The team is READY!

Miss April led a morning of auditions on the 5th June for the MPDA competition team! This will be launched in September. We had a great turnout and we were so impressed with the professional attitude of every student who auditioned! The dancers who have been offered a spot on the team have been notified by email. BUT, we will be holding auditions again in future as we hope to give everyone the opportunity to aim for a competition place!

Booking for the Autumn term will go live on MONDAY 11TH JULY at 9am. Please note that your Child’s space is not automatically saved and that you are required to book via our online booking system.

Places are offered on a first come first served basis.

Our timetable is likely to remain the same, just with a few minor changes and additions. You will be notified of any changes via email.

Instructions on how to book will be sent a few days before the 11th July.

AFRICAN DANCE WORKSHOP

Our sensational African dance workshop took place on Tuesday 28th June and what a success! The adult attendees all gave glowing feedback. With a live drummer, the dancers learnt some exciting moves and rhythms with Abril. We are already trying to book in another session with Abril. We simply can’t wait!

RAD BALLET EXAMS

Miss Emma has done a fantastic job training our lovely ballerinas. So much so, that this weekend marks the first of many ballet exams with the Royal Academy of Dance! We wish all of our students lots of luck and no doubt they will achieve great results.

A reminder that RAD Ballet classes take place on a Sunday. We’d love to welcome your Child to attend in September! Please contact the office for a free trial

LATIN AND BALLROOM- Now at MPDA!

From September, Miss Elena will be starting Adult Ballroom and teen ballroom/latin classes! We are so excited to have Elena on board.

On Sat 23rd July we will be holding TASTER LESSONS. A great opportunity to see if it’s something you’d like to do in the Autumn.

SAT 23RD JULY:

Teens ballroom 4.30-5.30pm (ages 13-17)

Adult beginner level 5.30-6.30pm (ages 18+)

Adult Dance Fitness- New Bicester Location

It was only a matter of time before our adult classes expanded further afield. Miss Felicity now instructs Adult dance fitness at Kingsmere Community Centre, Bicester every Wednesday!

The fun filled, energetic session runs from 7pm-8pm. We’d love to see you there.

Suitable for all abilities and fitness levels. The class will stop over the Summer so book in before the 20th July to give it a try before the Autumn!
