20th JULY: COMP TEAM AUDITIONS!

Does your child have what it takes to be part of our Elite competition team? We are holding auditions for our 2024-2025 squad at MPDA Studios on Sat 20th July. This year, as well as a senior team for ages 13+, we will now be introducing a JUNIOR team for age 9 and over!

JUNIOR TEAM AUDITION: Sat 20th July: 5pm-6pm

SENIOR TEAM AUDITION: Sat 20th July: 6pm-7pm

(If you cannot attend on 20th July, we will also be holding auditions on Fri 30th August for late entries).

NEW EARLY YEARS CLASSES!

We are incredibly excited to announce that Ex-MPDA studio ambassador Miss Lola will be running new Early years classes next term! Starting in September, we will be adding a Sunday morning early years program to accommodate high demand. Classes will be available to book from the 3rd July when booking opens. Please see the schedule below:

9.15-9.45am Baby Ballet (Age 2-3)

10-10.45am Mini Movers Dance (Confident walkers – age 2)

10.45-11.15am Baby MT (Age 2-3)

12.15-1pm Tinies Acro (Age 4-7)

PARENT & BABY CLASSES!

Miss Katelyn has been running our Friday morning classes- especially designed for busy parents out there! Tone with tinies allows parents to work out whilst your toddler can play with our wonderful soft play facilities in the same room! Sling Fit Baby Groove is a fun workout  which  gives new parents the chance to workout whilst remaining connected to your bundle of joy! There is no need to juggle childcare, as this session means that you can bring your little one along in their sling, and engage in a low impact dance workout which is sure to be plenty of fun.

TONE WITH TINIES: Fridays 9.30am-10.30am

SLING FIT BABY GROOVE: Fridays 10.45am-11.45am

LOOKING BACK ON JUNE!

To mark the start of Summer, we hosted another successful Stay and play morning on the 1st June! This time around we had a special ‘spring flower’ theme, incorporating sensory garden trays and summery arts and crafts for the children to engage in! It was a wonderful morning for the little ones who also loved playing in our exciting soft play equipment. It was also a great opportunity for parents to meet up and chat over some yummy refreshments. We can’t wait for the next one!

FINAL COMP TEAM EVENTS!

Comp team season has now come to a close, and our spectacular team went out with a BANG! We are so proud of what the students have achieved this year. The dancers work tirelessly in class each week, committing to private rehearsals to prepare their routines for these events. All of their dedication has paid off, and the girls have represented MPDA with great professionalism.  This is reflected in yet more brilliant results!

On Sunday 23rd June, our Tinies squad right through to our Elite Squad performed at the grand Park Fair in Oxford! MPDA performed over two time slots on the main stage to hundreds of people. It was a great opportunity for the teams to dance their showcase dances, which were themed around the progressive decades of music. The students did an amazing job and their performances were incredibly well received by the audience! The dancers also had a fantastic time for the remainder of the day, going on rides and having plenty of fun at the fair!

Here at MPDA we strive to support local businesses and we know first hand how tough the current climate can be. Therefore, we want to help other companies as much as we can- and that means YOU!

Every month, if you own a small business, you can have the chance to get a spot in a newsletter for FREE! This newsletter goes out to hundreds of customers which is great exposure.

All you have do to is submit your business details (e.g.- name/ webpage/ contact details) to us via email, by the 20th of each month. We will then pick an entry at random as part of a prize draw. We also would love for businesses to appear in our Summer show program! This is great exposure for you so please do get in touch if you’d like to find out more.
