Dear Parents and attendees!

We hope that everyone is settled into the New Year and that you have been enjoying the lessons so far. We would like to take this opportunity to wish our Disneyland Paris dancers a big GOOD LUCK for their performances in February. We are so excited for you and we can’t wait to hear all about it! A big thank you to Miss Emily and Miss April who are taking the team to Paris to perform.

Miss Bee is now available for private lessons on a Wednesday afternoon. Limited places. Ages 7+

RAD Ballet Exams

Did you know that dance exams which are at level 3 are deemed equal to A level standard? Therefore you would qualify for points that may be accepted by universities and colleges (e.g. UCAS points). The applicable Grades for level 3 are Grade 6/7/8 and Intermediate. If you child takes their RAD ballet exam for any of the previously mentioned Grades, they can use their exam results to help with future university or college applications!

Easter Holiday Camps!

Week One

DANCE CAMP 3rd-6th APRIL

TINIES CAMP (3-7 years) 9.30-12.30pm

MAIN CAMP (8-17 years) 9.30-3.30pm

Students will be split into age groups and will take part in master classes in jazz, contemporary, lyrical, hip-hop, funk, gymnastics, ballet, tap, musical theatre and more! At the end of the 4 days students will put on a short performance for parents to watch. This will be recorded for parents to share with other family members and friends. All abilities welcome. Your child does not need any dance experience.

Week Two

MUSICAL THEATRE CAMP 11-14th April

TINIES CAMP (3-7 years) 9.30-12.30pm Mon-Thu + 12.30-3.30 on Fri
MAIN CAMP (8-17 years) 9.30-3.30pm

This year students will put on their very own production of High School Musical! Students will audition for roles, learn songs and routines as well as script work for the costumed show. This will be recorded for parents to share with other family members and friends.

AFTER CAMP CLUB

This year we are offering after camp club to help any working parents who may not be able to collect their child midway through the day. The after-camp club will also be a great opportunity for older students to use free studio space for practice with supervision of an adult. Students from the tinies and main camps will be able to stay at the studios and take part in games, crafts and creative activities supervised by MPDA staff. They will need to ensure they have enough food for the day. After camp club is charged at £5 per hour with the following limits:

Tinies camp students can stay with us from 12.30-5.30pm **or 9.30-12.30 on Friday 14th.

(MIN 1 hour, MAX 5 hours)

Main camp students can stay with us from 3.30-5.30pm

(MIN 1 hour, MAX 2 hours)

To book your child in for after camp club, please first purchase their space for the camp via the link, then simply email us to let us know the dates and hours that your child will be attending with us.

Corporate Dance/Fitness/Yoga Sessions

MPDA have been running dance/yoga & fitness sessions to corporate companies within Oxfordshire. Some attend at our studios, most have us come to them.

After the pandemic we realised that there was a real need to bring a sense of community back into the work place. With most people now working from home, businesses use us to bring something active on the days that staff go into the office, usually over a lunch break or replacing a sit down meeting. This has proven to help bring back the team spirit of companies along with improving employees mental wellbeing.

We have a couple of businesses that book us at the end of every week. They do a dance class followed by a glass of prosecco! It’s lots of fun!!

A great chance for yourself or your child to improve in your chosen dance or Gymnastic style.

All private lessons are held in our Kidlington venue. On occasion, we can come to you for an additional charge.

Singing Workshop Half term

Singing and audition song workshop for students aged 13+ led by the incredible Julia! Julia has worked extensively with students who are preparing for, or who already attend professional musical theatre colleges. Designed to improve CONFIDENCE in a group singing setting. You will learn about your own voice, what songs suit you and how to prepare sheet music.

EARLY BIRD PRICE: £20 per person (book before February 11th)

REGULAR PRICE: £25 per person
