You can also secure your child’s space at one of our fantastic Summer camps! We will have 4 weeks of camps running at Kidlington over the Summer! Places are filling FAST and some camps are full! So please don’t delay in booking:

Tinies camps: age 3-7: 9.30am-12.30pm daily

Main camp: Ages 8-17: 9.30am-3.30pm daily

After camp options up until 5.30pm each day are available. Camps will end in a production for parents at the end of the week. MPDA and non MPDA students are welcome!

Relive the memories and cherish them forever by purchasing your Summer show DVD or USB! All orders are taken via the ‘Film My Show’ website and once a certain order quota has been met, all items will be dispatched to the MPDA studios. You’ll then be able to collect your items from the studios or it will be handed to your child in class when we return in the Autumn.

COMP TEAM AUDITIONS!

Does your child have what it takes to be part of our ELITE MPDA competition teams? Not only will we be continuing with our Junior comp team (Age 9-12) and our Senior team (age 13+), but we will be introducing a MINI TEAM! (Ages 5-8). We have already held one day of auditions, but we will be holding a second set of try outs on Friday 29th August. Please note that there will be a £10 audition fee. To express your interest- for now you can email April to request the details!

We are providing some fantastic opportunities for our teen students over the holidays with multiple workshops from guest teachers! We still have 3 more scheduled over August, so if your child is age 12+, why not join us? Learn from professionals in the industry and take your dancing to the next level!

We are thrilled to welcome Miss Robyn to the MPDA team! Miss Robyn will be teaching a number of our child classes in September, and we have no doubt that the students will adore her. Robyn has starred on stage and screen since graduating from professional training, and she can’t wait to help share her expertise with the next generation. Read more about Robyn by clicking below!

SINGING LESSONS AT MPDA!

Does your child strive to be a triple threat? Dream of a life on stage and screen? Why not try one of our singing private lessons? Miss Katelyn, Miss Ella, Miss Robyn AND Miss Alice are now all able to offer singing 1-1s and we have spaces available for the Autumn term! A private 1-2 is £20 for 30 minutes and you can attend a regular slot weekly, or every other week. Click below to enquire:

Starting in September, we will be offering more flexible booking options for our under 2s classes. We know life is hectic so we are doing what we can to accommodate your little one and their ever adapting schedule!

You’ll be able to book in for

4, 6 or 8 classes (or the whole time) in any of the following:

-BABY MASSAGE (6 weeks-sitting)

-BABY YOGA (4 months- 1 year)

-CURIOUS CRAWLERS (6 months-walking)

-MINI MOVERS (confident walkers – age 2)

-MINI TUMBLERS (confident walkers- age 2)

LOOKING BACK ON JULY!

SUMMER SHOW WEEKEND 2025!

What an AMAZING WEEKEND we had! All of the hard work and preparations were worth it. It’s a huge undertaking to organise a show of this scale, with many hours going into costume research, choreography, administration, tech, rehearsals etc. But the production was flawless and our students absolutely shone on stage. We hope that it was an experience which the dancers and audience members will remember for a long time to come. A special shout out to our fantastic chaperones who so kindly volunteered, we couldn’t have done it without you. The Sunday night ended perfectly with an emotional speech from Miss Bethany. Miss Bethany conducted our awards presentation to some very worthy winners, with special commendation to our leavers this year. All of which have been a real credit to MPDA.

We can’t wait to do it all again next year! So SAVE THE DATE! (Sat 11th and Sun 12th July 2026!)

RAD BALLET WATCHING WEEK!

Friends and family were invited in to watch our lovely RAD ballet students present some of their class work! Miss Adelaide has been working hard with her Sunday students, preparing many for their RAD ballet exams in the Autumn. It was evident how much progress the students have made, both technically and in their recall of the syllabus. Most importantly, the children are growing in confidence, enjoying working towards their goal of progressing to the next grade. Thank you to everyone who came to watch!

ADVANCED TEEN WORKSHOPS!

After a full day of comp team auditions, talented alumni student Miss Lola hosted a stunning advanced lyrical workshop for our teen students. The attendees picked up complex choreography, dancing with feeling, expression and stellar technique. We are so lucky to have Lola with us, demonstrating where MPDA training has got her- providing a fundamental platform for her professional training at Wilkes! Thank you Lola! This was followed by the fantastic Sheehan who is a real hit with both child and adult students. Sheehan challenged the dancers with some vibrant choreography, and everyone left the studio with a smile. We can’t wait for our remaining workshops in August!

Bicester Musical Theatre Dance day!

Miss Alice had nothing but glowing feedback about her Bicester MT camp day attendees! This was the first camp event we have hosted in the Bicester area, and it was a great success. Students enjoyed singing and dancing to ‘Wicked’ and ‘Mary Poppins’, developing their performance skills and having fun along the way! The day also induced some fun dance games and creative activities. Just a little taster or what it’s like to attend one of our dance camp weeks. Thank you to those who joined us, and Miss Alice hopes to see some regular weekly attendees when she returns to teach her Wednesday modern classes in September!

Now for our favourite ‘Stars of the month! segment’ ! 1  student from early years, tinies, mids and teens will be nominated by their teachers to be crowned the ‘star of the month’. This could be for a number of reasons; showing great improvement, bringing a smile to the studios, or perhaps that child achieves a new dance step! Either way, it’s a great accolade to aim for and we hope that you’ll be eager to see who has been selected each month!  Our star pupils for JULY are:

EARLY YEARS:Eloise M has not only progressed in her technical ballet skills, but she is also always so kind and considerate to her classmates. Eloise has great enthusiasm, listens beautifully and is just a pleasure to teach!

TINIES: Jasper L, who has just been awarded a place in our Tinies squad! Jasper was also a fantastic stand our performer in our Summer show.

MIDS: Thea J is absolutely born to perform- evident when you saw her shining on stage with a beaming smile! Thea has also been awarded a place in Junior Squad B!

TEENS: Annick Venter was truly incredible over our show weekend and she embodies everything we’d ever want from a class assistant. Such a natural way with children- thank you so much Annick!
