Learning key skills
Our very first audition week over the May Half term was a great success, with students taking intensive classes in ballet and jazz every day. They chose songs and monologues and worked on their singing and acting skills ready for the mock audition on the last day.
As well as the core disciplines of dance, singing and acting the students also worked on how to prepare a CV and carry themselves in an audition.
Impressive talent
The next course will include more in-depth information on the variety of routes into the dance industry and the range of professions that are available to a trained dancer.
Mr Reece, Miss Portia and Miss April were very impressed with the talent and the feedback from the students who attended has been overwhelmingly positive!
