Mini Professionals Dance Academy has a modern-day approach to the wonderful and historic teachings of dance and teaches Contemporary, Commercial, Funk, Modern, Lyrical, Ballet, Hip-hop, Jazz, Acrobatics, Gymnastics and Jazz dance classes in over 20 locations in Oxford, and now in Kensington, London.
MPDA was founded by Principal Bethany Gorton who teaches and works exceptionally hard in all classes to ensure children and teenagers leave the studio feeling happy and confident.
You can find further details on Bethany and all our talented teachers on our team page
Our aim is to instil confidence and self-belief in every one of our students. Every one of our experienced teachers are encouraging, enthusiastic and experienced, allowing creativity to overflow and self-confidence to amplify. We believe that just ONE weekly dance class at MPDA will boost a child’s confidence, coordination, balance, and fitness, which they can carry into every aspect of their life.
As well as children and teen dance classes, Mini Professionals offers corporate dance and fitness sessions, children dance parties, wedding choreography, adult dance classes, individual dance sessions, dance camps, dance workshops and dance for toddlers.
MPDA’s students have the opportunity to participate in several community events, that allows us to show off our skills and have fun doing so. Annual events include Cowley Road Carnival, Oxford’s Light Festival and the opening of the Christmas Markets.
To celebrate our student’s achievements, we host an annual awards ceremony, where each and every student receives an award, a certificate, and the opportunity to perform on a stage in front of their friends and family. Additional awards are also given for special recognition however we believe that every student should be recognised for their hard work and ensure that all of our students walk away with an award. We also host an annual Christmas disco with a professional DJ, refreshments and a gift from MPDA. Both of these events require parents to purchase tickets, however we endeavour to keep the costs of tickets/costumes to an absolute minimum.
